For Halloween weekend, I decided to visit an old high school friend at Virginia Tech. Despite a miserable drive through rain and sleet on Friday night, the weather was actually pretty nice on Saturday and we managed to see the mountain ranges and even stop by a farmer’s market in downtown Blacksburg. Be on the look out for more photos from around Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech campus in the near future!

This is the first shoot I’ve had that required the whole production team to be up and running at the location by 6am so we could get this great morning light. Despite the lack of sleep, doing the shoot this early in the morning was extremely worth it. Kat is an up and coming model as well as musician.

While this photo shoot was to put some new work in her port, it was also to create the photos to promote her debut EP.

Expect a bit of a different style of photos from this show as I shot the entire concert with my 50mm 1.4 and no flash. I did this out of respect for the videographers at the show filming Against Grace’s set for a new music video for their single “Monday,” so be on the lookout for that video in the near future!
